I thought I had an excellent prop [not ding or scrape] but wanted
a few more RPMs and speed. Sent it to Rich and it came back making
even a better hole shot, more RPMs and speed. He found the prop
out of balance and he got that straighten out. The big thing is,
I thought I had good mid range, now I have great mid range. When
he shipped the prop back, Rich told me I'd get better handling and
he told the truth. Great job. The only thing was he shipped my doorbell
button back [private joke].

Rich,
I
tried the prop you fixed this weekend. It runs great!!! It provides
excellent lift and I'm running right in the 6500 range. Excellent
job, you've earned another satisfied customer. I know where I'll send
my next prop, but hopefully it won't be soon. I appreciate the business
cards, I'll be passing them out to my buddies down here in Fla. Once
again, Thanks for the good work, It's hard to find nowadays!

Rich,
Had
several problems which you guys addressed. The prop did everything
you said it would do and more. I can't thank you guys enough for the
assistance. I get numerous comments on the prop from everyone who
sees it. Thanks again.

Rich,
Your prop
service is totally amazing. You took what I thought was a perfect
"A Number One" prop and made it unbelievable. Your fast
E-mail response to my questions and your very professional and fast
turn around service is not exceeded by any other.
My hole
shot and WOT are just unbelievable. Many thanks again

Rich,
Went
from no hole shot to a rocket, with lift at 4000 RPM that I had at
full throttle! Great work with fast turn around. The extra fuel economy
was a great bonus. It also took out the high speed torque, with no
blow out in tight turns.

Yes,
it’s another “Rich Boger done me good” post.
Talked
with Rich about my setup, speed, RPM, what prop’s I had run, etc.
Basically I told him I would like all the good points of
the various prop’s I had run, and some more speed (along with world
peace, a bucket full of $100 bills, and a weekend with Michelle
Pfeiffer). I commend Rich for always having the time to talk to
me and educate me in my numerous calls to him.
Rich gave me a recommendation of what prop I should send
to him to work over for my particular setup. I got the prop he recommended,
sent it to him to do his thing, and tadaaaa, it worked great! Got
the holeshot, handling, RPM, etc., I wanted and gave the ol underpowered
heavy Cajun a 4 MPH (GPS) boost!
Now I can at least keep HawgHawler’s and ChampioNrider’s
roost in sight a little longer ;-)
I
know, go ahead and drill me for not putting this on Boats n Motors
or the Props board, I only mention it here as those who have never
considered a tuned prop, might want to consider it...best money
I’ve spent in while. Actually,
I liked Rich’s work so much, as I was loading the boat when leaving
the lake last time out, with the motor running, I purposefully trimmed
the motor down into the concrete (ouchhhh!), just so I could send
it back to him to work on some more. How’s that for a truly dedicated
customer? Thanks for the great work and service Rich.....

Rich,
I
was totally frustrated with my setup. My holeshots were sluggish
at best, top end speed was far short of the boats capabilities.
I spent many dollars trying to dial in my setup at the local Marina.
I was referred to you by an internet friend who guaranteed
me that you were the best. This was the best advice I was ever given.
I took my boat for a ride after you did the propeller. I never expected
what came next. The boat jumped right out of the water and my Top
end speed is now in the mid to upper 60’s @ 5800. I have already
been telling my friends in the Chesapeake Bay Area about your services
and now display your stickers on my trailer. I wish I could tell
everyone who has ever wasted time and money trying to get their
setups correct to start with you. As far as I am concerned there
is no other propeller service. My money was well spent and I whole
heartedly thank you for your patience, advice, many e-mail’s and
unbelievably fast service.

Rich,
I have spoke with you on at least 3 occasions regarding my 2001
X17 Xpress bass boat with a 90hp Yamaha two stroke. You recommended
a Stiletto 13 1/4" by 17 pitch prop to me. I wanted to take a moment
to say thanks. I was faced with a good probability of buying the
wrong prop for my application. However, with your recommendation,
I am a very satisfied customer. The boat lifts as well at 4000 rpms
as it did before at 5500 rpms. The boat has gained 4mph measured
on a GPS. The ride and handling is much improved too. It lifts without
the porpoising that I had experienced before. I wanted to take a
minute to tell you about my results, so you can file it away for
the next guy with a small aluminum Xpress that wants it to be a
race boat(ha! ha!). I am planning on changing the reeds and maybe
using hydrotecs recreational head along with their carb upgrades,
I am sure that I will be by to visit with a prop to tune. Thanks
again!
Sincerely,

I didn't know exactly where to send this note but thought that you
want/need to know what I have to say about your rework of my Renegade.
I have not had a chance to run the boat for top speed numbers. If
you recall, I was more interested in the overall performance of
the boat including economy and rough water handling. The economy
has appeared to have gone up slightly, but I am still checking.
I have run about 100-125 gallons of gas through her and had a chance
to check the over all performance except for very rough water. (
I have not run the rework in 5' waves or greater yet)
My wife and I fish mainly for walleyes. We spend about 50 days a
year in the boat together. I spend about another 20 in the boat
without her. I share this information with you so that you have
a better understanding of how familiar with the boat/ride we are.
I would like to comment on the overall handling since my rework.
I can honestly say that the FIRST time I ran the throttle up that
I noticed that the prop had a LOT of bite. The boat rides noticeably
higher in the water.

Rich,
Sorry
it took so long to try my 23" Trophy you customized for me. I
tried it today in the Intracoastal here in Jacksonville. Well,
I didn't want to pick my boat up today!
You got my RPM's down to just over 5800, my speed with a medium
load went over 65 MPH! I now have great bow lift at mid range!
I can cruise at 35 MPH with my bow just out of the water so driving
is much easier now without the bow slicing left or right. My hole
shot is even better now. You did an awesome job and I thank you!
This prop is not going anywhere near an oyster bed!
I did lift my motor about 3/4" and it cut my rooster tail down
to about 3 feet or so at WOT with 18 PSI of water pressure for
the above speed and rpm's! I don't think I need to mess with the
set up anymore for this boat. It may not be a real high performance
boat, but your help sure makes it ride like it is. Thanks again!
You have my business and I will be recommending you to my friends!

Thanks
Rich!
I
can’t say enough about the great service, advice and craftsmanship
I have received from you. The product you have produced lives up
to the promises I hoped for and then some. My rpm is up by 300 and
my craft’s speed has increased by 3 mph. The hole shot has vastly
improved and the handling is on par with the best boats have ever
witnessed. This is by far the best investment I have made, or I
believe could have made to improve my boats performance. Not only
am I impressed but all my club’s members are too. I thought the
reed valve change I made was the best thing I could have done for
my boat but this has further enhanced the modifications made even
more. Rich you have my permission to give anyone who wants it my
email address and I will respond to him or her personally about
my experience. Once again, THANKS!

Rich,
Been quite busy this past fishing season and have not had the opportunity
to comment on the prop rebuild you did for me. Again you did an
outstanding job. Running a 25 Renegade on a Rude 150 is pushing
it as far as getting those critical rpm's, but with the addition
of the ventilation holes, the hole shot is amazing with still keeping
the top end and handling at the peek performance level. Again I
am more than satisfied with your fine craftsmanship.. By the way
your outstanding packaging method is rated #1. I don''t think even
UPS could damage a prop packaged like that. Hey I even put the decals
on my trailer :-) Thanks again,

I have spent countless hours trying to get that last mph out of my
Gambler. After testing 16 different props I finally settled on a stock
25 Trophy plus for it's midrange & top end. However, I could only
turn it to 5300 rpm. I spent nearly a year deciding who to send it
to and finally chose Rich Boger. Man, am I glad I did! He took me
from 5300rpm 72mph (speedo) to 5800rpm 78mph (speedo) and improved
holeshot. All this at 6000+ Ft. above sea level. Totally unbelievable!
I don't want to tell anyone around here 'cause now I have more of
an (edge), I owe it to Rich so I guess I'll go ahead and share with
everyone my experience with the most professional, honest, and in
my opinion by far the best prop "magician" on the planet! Thank you
Rich Boger!

I have had
several props worked here and every time the quality of work and the
craftsmanship were beyond my expectations. Little did I realize what
I was actually getting for the money until I sent my prop off to
Longview, Texas since the price was so much cheaper. The prop I got
back was as bad or worse than a stock prop and my Ranger no longer
performed anywhere close to how it did before. LESSON LEARNED, YOU
GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!. What you will get from a prop work by Rich
is beyond comparison and the dollars are nothing compared to the
performance your prop will have.

Rich..
You
reworked my factory prop on my 225 Mercury, it made my Champion
a really fast boat in my opinion.
Exceptional hole shot, up on pad and moving QUICK....
For a Heavy Boat my Champion / 225 Merc is a blast to run..
Sometime too much fun for a Bass Boat..
Thanks for being a Perfectionist in the Prop/Boat Performance
Market..
If anyone asks for Performance Prop Work.. They get your # from
me.
Thanks Again
